Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Splitser. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Splitser (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, or to interfere with the operation of the Service.
You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code of the Service.
4. Upgrading to Pro & Payments
Splitser offers a 7-day free trial and a paid "Pro" plan priced at ₹99 for a one-year term.
We do not use an automated payment gateway. To upgrade, you pay ₹99 via UPI by scanning the QR code shown at checkout, using any UPI app such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM. We do not collect or store your card or bank details.
After you complete the payment, it is verified manually — typically within 5 to 10 minutes, though in rare cases it may take longer. Your Pro access is activated only once the payment has been confirmed. If a payment cannot be verified, Pro will not be activated and you should contact support.
Pro access is valid for one year from the date of activation and does not renew automatically. There is no recurring charge. To continue using Pro after the term ends, you make a new UPI payment.
5. Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable. Once a Pro upgrade is purchased and your UPI payment is confirmed, the amount paid will not be refunded in whole or in part — including for any unused portion of the term, accidental purchases, or change of mind.
Because Pro does not renew automatically, there is no recurring charge to cancel — your access simply ends when the one-year term expires. Splitser also offers a 7-day free trial before any payment, so you can evaluate the full Pro experience at no cost before paying.
By completing a UPI payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this no-refund policy.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit (expenses, notes, receipts). You grant us a license to process and display that content to provide the Service.
You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of content you submit.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Splitser is not a financial institution and does not move money between users.
Balance calculations are informational only. You are responsible for verifying amounts before transferring funds.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Splitser will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
